Born and Raised in Timmins, Ontario, Marcel and his fiance moved to Toronto, Ontario in the late 1980's to complete his CPA/CMA designation and pursue a career in accounting. This led to working in 5 industries while progressing from an accounting clerk to senior finance roles. Most recently, Marcel worked as North American CFO for a Taiwanese based corporation in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. Marcel and his wife purchased their first home in Mississauga but then moved to Cambridge (Hespeler) in 2005 as they were expecting their 3rd child. Marcel has been very active in the community coaching youth sports for Hespeler Minor Hockey Association, Cambridge Minor Baseball Association, and Cambridge Youth Soccer for over 15 years. He also served on the Board of Directors for Cambridge Minor Baseball as well as Hespeler Minor Hockey Association, where he was also Treasurer for several years. Marcel retired from the "corporate world" in July 2025. This is when he decided to take on his second career - real estate. He has always had an interest in real estate, both residential and commercial, owning a 9-plex residential apartment building, as well as managing commercial leases for several companies over his career. With his lengthy background in Finance and Accounting, he feels that he is well prepared for this next journey. Who better to trust with likely your largest asset than someone who "knows the numbers"! He also remembers how difficult it was as a first-time home buyer and saving for the deposit, and he is excited to do everything he can to help the new buyers in today's market. With 3 grown children, Marcel and his wife will become "ëmpty nesters" in the coming years and helping others who are in a similar situation of down-sizing is exciting,
